ABIGAIL PLATZ
Abigail Platz is a Master of Architecture Student at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning enrolled in the three year program for students with diverse undergraduate studies. Abigail holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and uses her background to produce beautiful visualizations of her architectural work. Her passion for creating beauty through space and her mission to produce ecologically responsible structure shines throughout her work. Abigail's drive to to learn more about how architecture can encourage change in a community led to her interest in working on the Mobile Design Box Retrofit Project.
Nominated for Super Jury 2021 for her work on a fall design build site intervention project, Abigail's focus on minimal material waste and a design which works in harmony with its natural environment continues to be a theme throughout her work. Through her contributions to the Mobile Design Box Retrofit Project, Abigail hopes not only to explore this notion further, but to further understand the community as a driving factor for the architecture within its bounds.
