CARLY FARRELL
Carly Farrell is a Master of Architecture Student at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning enrolled in the three year program for students with diverse undergraduate studies. Carly holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with Museum Techniques and Anthropology and uses her unique background to bring fresh perspectives to her work. Her passion for both historic preservation and historic adaptive reuse in Architecture drive her studies at UWM, and additionally, led to her interest in working on the Mobile Design Box Retrofit Project.
Nominated for Super Jury 2021 for her work on a fall design build site intervention project, Carly's focus centered around understanding how the history of a space and its adaptations by the community throughout the years can shape an inclusive design for the future. Through her contributions to the Mobile Design Box Retrofit Project, Carly hopes not only to explore this notion further, but to further understand the community as a driving factor for the architecture within its bounds.
